You can read about how we process your information, how you receive a receipt for a purchase and much more. Payment All prices in the Thisted Camping & Hytteferie online booking system are, like everywhere else on the website, written in Danish kroner, including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clear in that situation. The prices stated in euros are indicative. Payment is made using one of the accepted payment cards / credit cards for online booking, including Visa, Mastercard and Diners. (We kindly remind you that when paying with a foreign credit card, a surcharge is added.) Information about shopping on the Internet You can safely shop on the Internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against possible misuse of your credit card on the Internet, therefore there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the Internet. Changing a booking To change a booking, you must contact the campsite. Shipping and delivery When booking and paying for a cabin, a room, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan or motorhome, you will be presented with a booking confirmation/contract from Thisted Camping & Hytteferie, which includes the account for your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer. Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Thisted Camping & Hytteferie on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned contract. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash. Right of cancellation and refund You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions: Camping: If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 350.00 will be deducted. If cancelled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be refunded. However, the cancellation fee of DKK 350.00 will not be deducted. If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, no refund will be made. If the stay is booked for less than 5 days - we reserve the right to move your booked unit to another unit of the same type. Cabins and rooms: If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 750.00 will be deducted. If cancelled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be refunded, excluding the cancellation fee of DKK 750.00 If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, no refund will be made. If the stay is booked for less than 5 days - we reserve the right to move your booked unit to another unit of the same type. Registration of information Thisted Camping & Hytteferie registers your name, address, e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information will not be passed on, but Thisted Camping & Hytteferie will retain the registration for 5 years. Thisted Camping & Hytteferie uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site. When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet. Thisted Camping & Hytteferie reserves the right to price errors in online bookings, so the prices stated on the website always apply. Complaint handling If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or telephone number below. Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with Section 83, subsection 1 of the Danish Sales Act, unless otherwise agreed. When Thisted Camping & Hytteferie receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. Thisted Camping & Hytteferie will decide whether the received product should be refunded, exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given. Personal data processing for Thisted Camping & Hytteferie ApS 1. General: This personal data policy applies to Thisted Camping, Iversensvej 3, 7700 Thisted by the owners: Janni Rhod Christiansen & William Christiansen. The purpose of the policy is to clarify how we handle your personal data. 2. Data controller: Thisted Camping ApS (CVR-nr: 29433178) is the data controller. How we collect your personal data: Your data is collected in connection with your stay at the campsite. We collect personal data in the following way: When you choose to purchase and/or request one of the campsite's services. Via TV surveillance Collection of personal data and the processing of these will at all times be in accordance with applicable legislation. The TV surveillance is set up as a security measure for employees and guests. The surveillance is located at the entrance to the site and outside at our bathroom and toilet buildings and communal kitchens. The TV surveillance is exclusively live recordings that are stored for 20 days and then deleted automatically. 4. What personal data do we collect: We collect the following: Name, address, telephone number, nationality and email address. In addition, we register your purchases of the campsite's services for the purpose of billing your stay. You can choose to provide the campsite with additional information that you consider may be important for your stay. 5. Purpose of the collection: The collection of your personal data is for one or more of the following purposes: Fulfillment of legal requirements. Processing of your reservations and purchases of the campsite's services. Contacting you before and during your stay. Sending you requested information about the campsite's services. Your personal data is collected solely for the above purposes. Your personal data is limited to what is necessary, cf. the above. We will obtain your consent if your data is to be used for other purposes. 6. The legal basis for the processing: As a starting point, the processing of your personal data is required by law for the campsite. This is the case, for example, in connection with guest registration at check-in, where the legislation states which personal data the campsite is required to register, cf. the Passport Order and the Immigration Order. The campsite is also required to inform Statistics Denmark of the nationality of overnight guests. In addition, your personal data is registered and processed for accounting reasons in connection with your purchases of the campsite's services. 7. Who your data is shared with: Apart from the legal requirements for registration of overnight guests and accounting, your personal data is not shared with third parties. 8. Transfer of data: Your data is not transferred to other countries. 9. Storage and deletion: Your data is stored on a server located within the EU/EEA. To avoid data loss, the campsite regularly backs up our data sets. Your personal data is deleted when all purposes for the registration in question are no longer necessary. However, information about the contact person for invoice information is stored for five years so that applicable accounting legislation can be complied with. After 5 years, the information is deleted. You can request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time, provided that legal requirements do not make this unlawful. 10. Your rights: In accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation and the Danish Data Protection Act, you have the following rights: You have the right to access the personal data that we process about you upon request. You have the right to have any incorrect personal data corrected and updated. You have the right to have any personal data that the campsite is not required to store deleted. You have the right to withdraw your consent, which forms the basis for the processing of your personal data, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing that was based on consent before its withdrawal. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you can request to receive your personal data so that it can be easily transferred to you or another data controller chosen by you.
